As you can see, I am raring to go....only 11 more sleeps and it is going to snow here! WOW-last time I went to Beijing, I was going from 40 degree weather here to -10 and windy there. Now it will be the reverse.
Just got a brochure from the QMary2 and they want me to dress up! For dinner! I mean....looks like I might be skipping dinner and gazing at the stars instead. I can just see me schlepping a cocktail frock across Mongolia just to go to dinner on the Atlantic. Maybe someone in Russia will loan me one.

Almost there!

Only 12 more sleeps and I am outa here.

My stomach already does flip flops when I wake up in the morning. It is all coming together, but slowly. Some of it fell apart too. I didn't get the South American trip I wanted, so I am going later, which means I will be back later than I thought...more like early December than late November. Thinking about spending 6 month away feels awesome and I hope I can do it. I know when I get out on the road, it will be so exciting that I will be caught up in the moment [which is what I love about travelling].

I have made some lists, cleaned out rooms that need cleaning out while I am away. Packed up most of my office at work, ordered some US$ to take with me and booked a lot of trains, b&b's and broadway plays...but there is so much more to do! [I wonder if it all ever gets done before anyone goes]. I booked a cutie b&b* in Niagara Falls-Ontario side. They actually have a room called the Down Under [it was taken, but they are giving me the Las Palmas - at least it's not called the Las Vegas]. And this was the least twee of all the b&b's.

Still no visas for China, Russia and Mongolia...maybe I will be stuck at the Beiijing airport customs while my luggage roams on without me. I don't want the time to fly by to get there, because then the time flies by while I am there.
Next month, I will be climbing the Great Wall and walking on the Mongolian plains. Stay tuned. Not long now!
